Look for the season, draft, team or award in the question. Type a matching answer into the field.
Use the Answer button to submit. Each question has 30 seconds; use Pass if you want to move on.

00 / CHOOSE YOUR SHOT
The game menu lets you choose Crowd or Rare. Crowd favours the answers most people give; Rare rewards less common answers that still fit the prompt.
Press Play to start a round. If you have a round in progress, the menu can offer a Resume button.
01 / THE QUESTION
In this captured round, the prompt asks for a player from the 2003 NBA draft. The answer field sits below the question, while the timer shows how long you have left.
In Crowd mode, think of a valid name that many other players might choose. In Rare mode, try a less common valid answer.
02 / THE RESULT
After each question, the game shows the shot result and points earned. In this example the clock ran out, so the result is zero points.
Select Next question to keep playing. The progress bar at the top tracks your round.
PICK YOUR APPROACH
The same prompt can lead to very different choices. Start by finding a valid answer; then consider the mode you've chosen.
Recall well-known players who fit the question. A recognizable name can be useful when the game asks for the most common answer.
Explore your knowledge of older seasons, teammates and draft classes for an answer others might overlook.
